About
GLG Capital Advisors helps borrowers find financing for commercial real estate, business and specialty assets from $1M to $150M. We place each request with a network of 8,000+ capital sources, and tell you within one business day whether your deal is financeable.
We are an advisory and placement firm. We do not lend our own money. You tell us the project and what blocked it. We prepare the file, match it to the programs that lend on that kind of deal, and manage the process through term sheet and closing.
Our focus includes bridge and construction loans, mezzanine debt and preferred equity, permanent financing, SBA and owner-occupied real estate, and specialty collateral such as aircraft, vessels, art collections, energy, mining and infrastructure, sports franchises and litigation claims.
David and Emily met Greg while trying to fund a ground-up construction project on Fort Myers Beach that conventional lenders could not yet see, because local comps had not caught up to the recovery. Greg's brokerage had been built for exactly that kind of deal. David and Emily brought systems, operations and marketing; Greg brought two decades of lender relationships. GLG Capital Advisors puts the two together: a deal room that routes each inquiry to the right lender by asset class and situation, and an underwriter who reviews every file and calls back within one business day.
A bank's no usually just means the deal found the wrong lender, not the wrong deal.

Underwriting & Systems · Co-Founder, Lucky Duck Group
David spent 25 years allocating institutional capital, at Disney and Capital Group Companies and then in pharmaceutical finance, where he directed a $1.5 billion R&D budget across 300+ active clinical trials. His specialty is fixing the systems behind the numbers: he rebuilt a forecasting process that was missing its targets by $300 million a year by redesigning the process and accountability structure underneath it. At GLG Capital Advisors he runs underwriting and systems, applying a downside-first, stress-tested review to every borrower file before it reaches a lender. He also runs a fractional CFO practice and co-founded Lucky Duck Group.
Marketing & Operations · Co-Founder, Lucky Duck Group
Emily trained as an industrial engineer and spent nearly 25 years in pharmaceutical R&D operations, delivering $30-59 million enterprise capital programs. She is the person leadership turned to when a vague problem needed to be scoped honestly and converted into a plan with milestones and dates. At GLG Capital Advisors she leads marketing and operations. She also leads ground-up coastal development at Lucky Duck Group, where she lived the borrower's side of a construction deal the local comps had not caught up to yet. That project is how she met Greg.
